We had twenty five brave souls punish themselves in showery, windy, and cold weather just to have fun! The string and throw contest was a day of excitement and some very funny moments. To watch a player (me) toss a ball out of the bunker on hole #8 an to watched it roll pass the pin and continue off the green by 6 feet clear on the other side of the green was as much fun as I ever had since my root canal in 1999! Seriously it was a load of fun and I congratulate Charles Gilbreath in doing a splendid job!
