Friday September 25 2009 the CCGA  competed in representing Churn Creek Golf Course in the First Annual Redding Nine Hole Challenge held at The Club "Terra Oaks" Our team Brandon Ketchum, Dave Spinks, Kenneth Gunter and David Cantwell fought the hot steamy heat and some really good golfers to finish 3rd place. In the 3 best ball net score format the finish was as follows.

Mens

River Bend 108 net Champions.....

Allen's Golf Course  110 net

Churn Creek Golf Course 117 net

Palo Cedro Golf Course  128 net.

Ladies

Palo Cedro 128 net uncontested.

It was a great day and lots of fun. Our hats of to the management team at Terra Oaks for putting on a nice tournament and lunch.
