| Gentlemen Start Your Engines We come full circle to the end of the league as we enter week #9 where we find Team # 1, The Beaton Beaters taking over first place over Team #3, The Baird Bombers by a margin of 1 1/2 points. Next week the big showdown at Churn Creek will settle it. Rumor has it these guys just don't like each other and there may be blood! There are some serious differences in the purse in which these combatants are competition for. In other news team # 2, The fearless Galles Cheese Heads has a 4 point lead over Team #4, The Charles Chargers. This battle of the "have nots" will be for the final pay-off spot leaving the looser with the coveted Hamm's Beer 12 pack. The Blood bath will start at 5:15 off the White tees. Teams # 1 and #2 won the right to be the home teams that was settled by coin flip after week 8 competition. |
